Built Editions is a brand established by architecture and design studio Site Practice, based in Mumbai and Amsterdam.

It was founded by architect Anne Geenen, who I met years ago in India when she was working at Studio Mumbai Architects. Anne is an extremely talented designer and her experience as an architect over the years in India have introduced her to a lot of traditional craft and beautiful natural materials.

Built Editions presents traditional Indian craftsmanship through a contemporary lens. Each of its products is designed and made through engagement with artisanal communities with the aspiration of preserving Indian crafts in the modern world.

We now have their full range of colours of their beautiful spice grinders. We use ours as a pepper grinder, but you could have one as a salt grinder too - they look so good as a set of different colours. Also, they work extremely well (the grinder part is top quality) & very comfy to hold. I love well designed things!
