Roll Down Canvas Bag PRELOVED
This bag is PRELOVED. Used by us previously. It is a very early bag, perhaps a sample from 10 years ago. Please see photos and use the zoom feature to see detail of their preloved condition. We have washed this. It has worn in very nicely. It has a small hole at the bottom, we have applied a product called 'fray stop', so the hole should not grow. Please see photo.

Kirsty has been making these bags for over 10 years. She first made these super sturdy bags for herself to carry heavy shopping home and to use everyday. Then friends bought them. Then friends of friends. They were the first Klay items we sold and were one of the reasons we ended up setting up the website!
These simple bag have high quality detailing and strong materials. They are bags that we are told get used everyday over years for many things: carrying lap tops, books, groceries, flowers, laundry, weekend trips and just everyday stuff that goes into bags! We are told they are good for putting new baby stuff into too.
The bags are designed so you can be used with the canvas up (if it is filled with stuff), or folded over, rolled or scrunched down, when there is less stuff inside.
Immaculately finished throughout, including traditional reinforced flat felled seams and binding around the bottom. Two internal pockets. Pure cotton heavy duty canvas 14oz. The straps are made at a local factory in Auckland from polypropylene.
Size: 38cm wide x 42cm tall x 12cm deep (at bottom). Strap length 54cm. Made in New Zealand.
Care: It is best to hand wash the black bags to avoid fading/ streaks. Drip dry. Never use a dryer to dry these. Never iron the straps. You can read more on our Product Care page.
