The pink and the yellow have small spots on one side. We have tried to get these out and can not. The blue is a sample where we were testing the inner fill options and some wool and cotton fibres have come through. Please refer to images. Please note that I took the photos of the sends flaws on my iphone, so the colours are not accurate, please refer to the studio product images for a better idea of true colour.

Introducing our new limited range of flat squab cushions, made in collaboration with a second-generation cushion maker in Kyoto. You can read more about the process of making these squabs with Shirai-sama in Kyoto on our blog post here.
These cushions are designed to provide a soft layer of comfort for chairs or the floor. They have an intentionally flat, pancake-like shape and will likely become a bit flatter with use over time.
Each squab cover is hand-trussed closed with contrasting white upholstery thread. Unlike our other cushions, these squabs do not have removable covers—the colourful fabric layer you see is the final, finished layer, with exposed hand trussing.
Please note that these squabs cannot be wet-washed. To refresh and remove odours, we recommend using a dry baking soda method. For small stains, you can spot clean or try the talcum powder method for oil marks. For more care information, please see here. If you’re looking for a cushion with a removable cover for easy washing, we suggest considering our main range of cushions, which are designed with removable covers that can be hand-washed at home.
