These tiny aluminium clips are made in Japan by Nanmoku, a fourth-generation-family-run manufacturer that has specialised exclusively in aluminium clips since 1948. They are the only company left in Japan producing aluminium clips and they still smelt and roll their own aluminium sheets. Their clips are iconic in Japan as they still make some of their original designs. 

These tiny clips could be used for clipping notes together, or holding up little signs, or closing tiny packets like bags of spices.
